ANA LEANCA
Powerful Music with an Urgent Message:

Abuse Is Never an Act of Love

One woman’s decades-long conflict is now an album calling us to take action.

Without awareness, support, and compassionate community action for abused women, we all suffer.

This Album Is for All of Us

“You Don’t Know Me” is a lyrical ode—in screams and whispers—to women who have experienced abuse in the arms of someone they trusted. The album will resonate with anyone who has struggled with patriarchy, but has special meaning to women who have been mistreated by their partners.
Lively, passionate, and even humorous at times, tracks like “I Need a Drink or Two” capture the pain, resignation, and defiance of the too-common shared experience. Each song is the necessary beginning of a conversation: we as a society need to talk about abuse, or we condemn ourselves to repeat it.
With her compelling storytelling, Ana Leanca lifts us and offers anthems of hope and determination in the face of adversity. Share it as a show of support— support for women who have suffered and for women who need not suffer in the future.
